In case of Termite Infestation start here prior to B.A.G. arrival.

• Make sure at least four inches of the foundation can be seen all around the home. Siding should not extend into the soil. Mulch and soil should not touch the siding.
• Make sure water drains away from the home to ensure that it does not accumulate near the foundation. Rain gutters are ideal; however, the downspout should direct the water away from the home.
• Store Fire Wood Away From House.
• Roof or plumbing leaks can allow subterranean termites to survive aboveground in a house. These problems should be corrected as soon as possible.
• Clean Interior of house to ensure no old food is laying around that would attract any insects. It's also a good idea so you can see if there are any new infected areas that went unnoticed.

If Termites/Insects swarm!

• Close off the room in which the insects are swarming (just to prevent nuisance spread).
• Collect a few to show your inspector. (They do not need to be alive.)
• Use a vacuum cleaner to remove insects as they are swarming or immediately after.
• If possible, note the exact locations from which the swarmers are emerging.
